Your Invitation – An opportunity to prepare for an exciting future
We invite you and your child to experience how the unique program at the Renaissance Academy prepares your child for the future by maximizing intellectual potential, while allowing your child to flourish socially and emotionally.
Placement is based on the child’s actual intellectual potential and achievement as well as the child’s emotional maturity and behavioral patterns. Students are accepted regardless of race, color, gender, physical or perceptual limitations. However, acceptance into the program is dependent upon staff ability to meet each child’s individual needs, including physical, hearing, perceptual limitations, and the child’s ability to interact socially with other students. In addition, the availability of space for new students varies annually. idn live

Each child’s actual level of achievement is determined through an evaluation of their school work, special interest work, and other performance evaluations. Additionally, the child’s developmental history is reviewed, and information provided by the child’s teacher(s), if available, is considered. slot gacor

Admission
Admission into The Renaissance Academy is based on a personal interview with the director. During this time, it is important for the parents and school to deduce their level of philosophical alignment. We have found children to be most successful when their family and their school shares a similar value system.

Renaissance Academy normally requires your child to take either a Stanford Binet or Weschler IQ Test to be administered by a clinical psychologist. If Renaissance, the child’s parents, in conjunction with the opinion of the psychologist, believe that we can effectively meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of the child, that child will be admitted.

Renaissance Academy requires the student to participate in one of our classrooms. The amount of time a child visits may vary, and that time should be as long as it takes for parents, students and teachers to feel clear about whether The Renaissance Academy is the right place for the child. At the conclusion of the evaluation period, the student – together with instructors and parents – will make permanent placement decisions. Our primary goal is to make certain that the child is in the most rewarding and productive atmosphere and is amongst intellectual peers.

Gifted children are accepted regardless of race, color, sex, or physical or perceptual limitations. The student body is composed of children from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Tuition
Tuition for the 2000-2001 academic year is $6,955.00 for Divisions I-V. Tuition for part-time enrollment in Division I is $5,930.00. Payment plans are available upon request. Our intake process is fairly extensive, therefore, enrollment commitments are binding. The Academy does not issue tuition refunds.

Financial Aid
The Board of Directors, together with the Director, will review each applicant’s need and determine the amount of financial relief to be granted. Renaissance offers financial aid for one year only. This normally gives families enough time to financially plan for future years at the Academy.
